INGREDIENTS
2 Medium avocados, peeled
3 tblso Fresh lime or lemon juice
1 sm ripe tomato, seeded and chopped
2 tblsp Minced onion
1 or 2 Jalapeņos, fresh or pickled, seeded and chopped
1 Clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Cilantro, finely chopped (optional)
ROUGHLY mash the peeled avocados in a bowl.
STIR Stir in the lime or lemon juice.
ADD all remaining ingredients. Adjust seasonings to taste. Serve at once.
If you must refrigerate guacamole, cover it with plastic wrap, placing the wrap directly on the surface. Contact with air will darken the guacamole.
Use, however, as quickly as possible.
