INGREDIENTS:
4 Eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup Bisquick
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (If you like spicy, use 2 to 3 heaping teaspoons of Jalapeno Peppers - it's Deeeelicious!)
2 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese (I use the weight vs volume measure here)
1 cup (heaping) uncooked elbow macaroni
Preheat over to 350 - 400. (I've tried 3 different ovens and each vary that much!) Coat a 9 x 13 oblong baking dish with (Pam or butter ).
In blender, mix first four ingredients, pour 1/3 to 1/2 in bottom of baking dish and bake for about 5 minutes (until bottom is close too, but not quite solid.
Mix macaroni and cheese (leave 1 cup for topping) in a baggie or bowl and sprinkle over the baked mixture. Pour remaining liquid mixture over baked portion and top with remaining cheese.
Bake for 35 - 40 minutes, or until a tooth pick comes out clean when stuck in center. Let stand for 10 minutes, then cut into squares.
Can be served as an entree, or a side dish.
