Pork Chops and Orange Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

4 pork chops (1 inch thick)
Seasoned salt
1 cup water
1 cup orange juice

SAUCE:
5 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
Dash of salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
10 whole cloves
1 to 2 teaspoons grated orange rind
1/2 cup orange juice
4 orange or tangerine slices

Brown pork chops with seasoned salt. Add water and cup of orange juice, cover and simmer about 1 hour - watching carefully that the juice does not boil away.

While pork chops are simmering, in a small sauce pan combine all the sauce ingredients, bring to a boil and continue to boil until clear and slightly thickened. Pour over drained pork chops, placing 1 slice of orange on each and serve.
