Peanut Butter Banana Dogs



INGREDIENTS:

8 hot dog buns, split
2 tablespoons butter or margerine, softened
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons honey
3 to 4 medium bananas, sliced

SPREAD cut sides of hot dog buns with softened butter.

BROIL 6 inches from heat (with electric oven door partially open) 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly toasted.

STIR together peanut butter, cinnamon, and honey; spread evenly over toasted side of hot dog buns. Top with banana slices. Makes 8 servings.

NOTE: To prevent sliced bananas from turning dark, coat with a small amount of pineapple or orange juice.
